Following the events of Dead Man's Chest (2006), Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is trapped in Davy Jones’ Locker. His crew—Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush)—must form uneasy alliances, including with the pirate lord Sao Feng, to rescue Jack. The East India Trading Company, now in control of Davy Jones, seeks to eradicate piracy forever.

To stand a chance, the nine Pirate Lords of the Brethren Court must unite. This leads to a climactic battle between freedom and control at the edge of the world.
